1. What these tools actually are

EveryVerdict products, including VanVerdict and Car Verdict, are record keeping and comparison tools. They help you write down what you saw, photograph it, tag where a claim came from, and lay several options next to each other. That is the whole job.

They are not an inspection service. They are not a valuation. They are not a mechanical, structural, gas, electrical, plumbing or compliance assessment. They are not finance, insurance, legal or tax advice. Nobody from EveryVerdict looks at your caravan or your car.

2. Where the information comes from

What you see in the app comes from a mix of sources, and each one can be wrong:

• You. Your own notes, photos, voice notes and checklist answers. If you write down the wrong tow ball weight, the app will happily carry that wrong number all the way to the comparison.
• Sellers, dealers, manufacturers and brochures. Specifications, weights, capacities, model years, inclusions and prices are supplied by other people. They are frequently incomplete, optimistic, out of date, or specific to a build variant that is not the one in front of you.
• Public and third party sources. Market listings, price observations, recall notices and similar material gathered from elsewhere. We do not control it and cannot guarantee it.
• Automated analysis, including AI. Some features summarise, score, rank or research on your behalf. These outputs are generated by software, including large language models, which can be confidently wrong, can miss things, and can invent detail that looks plausible. Every such output is a starting point for your own checking, never a conclusion.

3. Why the data goes stale

Caravan and vehicle markets move. Prices change, stock sells, model specifications are revised mid year, a compliance plate says something different from the brochure, and a recall is issued after we last looked. Anything you see may have been accurate when it was recorded and wrong by the time you read it. We do not promise that any figure, score, specification or research result is current.

4. Prices, specifications and other figures are indicative only

Any price, specification, weight, capacity or other figure shown anywhere on our sites or in our apps, including a pooled or aggregated market price, is indicative only and is provided as an example. It is not a quote, a valuation, an offer or advice. Every detail, including price and specification, must be independently verified with the seller, the manufacturer and the actual paperwork before you rely on it for any legal or financial decision.

5. Scores, checklists and verdicts are opinions, not findings

Confidence indicators, evidence ratings, checklist results, comparisons and anything the app calls a verdict are conveniences built on the information available at that moment, most of it entered or supplied by other people. They are not a professional opinion and they are not a guarantee of condition, safety, legality, roadworthiness or value.

6. What you must do yourself

Before you hand over money or sign anything, at a minimum:

• Read the compliance plate, weight plate and the actual paperwork, and confirm every weight, capacity and figure against them.
• Commission an independent pre purchase inspection from a qualified inspector, and a gas, electrical or structural check where relevant.
• Run the official history and encumbrance checks that apply in your state or territory.
• Confirm tow vehicle compatibility, licensing and insurance with qualified people, not with an app.
• Get anything the seller promised in writing, in the contract.

7. No responsibility for your decisions

To the maximum extent the law allows, Dutch Digital Dynamics Pty Limited and EveryVerdict accept no responsibility or liability for any loss, cost, damage or disappointment arising from a decision you make, or do not make, based on information used, collected, displayed, generated or linked on everyverdict.com, vanverdict.com, car.everyverdict.com or any associated or linked site. The decision is yours and the risk of that decision stays with you.

Nothing here excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Our Terms of Service set out how liability works in full, including those consumer guarantees.

8. Links to other sites

Where we link to a dealer, manufacturer, marketplace, government service or any other third party, we do not control that site and do not endorse or verify what it says. Following a link is at your own risk.

We may update this disclaimer. The version and date at the top tell you which one you are reading.
